These are the kinds of questions you might be asking, especially if you’re new to LifePointe.  The Starting Pointe class is where you’ll find answers.  The goal of Starting Pointe is to help you discover everything LifePointe is about.  Covered in this monthly class are our beliefs, mission, vision, values, structure and practices.  Starting Pointe provides you a wealth of information that gives you the opportunity to consider if LifePointe is the church for you.

            We should mention that Starting Pointe is occasionally (and erroneously) called “The Membership Class”, and while participants are indeed given the opportunity to officially make LifePointe their church home, this is not a membership class.  The reason is this reality: not everyone who participates in Starting Pointe is ready to become a member.  Joining a church is a very serious consideration, and it would be quite presumptuous to expect every participant to be ready to “sign on the dotted line”.  We’re not big fans of “presumptuous”, so please refrain from calling Starting Pointe “The Membership Class”.
